Operating Facilities Across Key Locations

Otter Ferry supports both land-based and sea-based production of Atlantic Halibut and plays a central role across several stages of our value chain. The site supports broodstock and juvenile development, helping us produce robust, high-quality fish for further production.

Otter Ferry also produces HOG fish for delivery directly to market, combining its established aquaculture expertise with an important role in our commercial production.

At Frøya, we hold three approved licences for sea cage production, with a combined maximum capacity of 2,350 tonnes. An application for an additional site is currently under review, providing further opportunities to expand production as our operations grow.

Krutøya forms an important part of our activities at Frøya and also serves as a research and development facility. Here, we gain practical experience with sea cage production of Atlantic Halibut while testing equipment and operational solutions that can contribute to more efficient and sustainable production.

At Tømmervåg, we operate a grow-out facility for Atlantic Halibut. The site became operational in 2026, with the first fish introduced to the facility the same year.

With established infrastructure and further development potential, Tømmervåg provides opportunities to gradually expand production as our operations grow. Its location also allows the facility to complement our other activities in Trøndelag and Møre og Romsdal as we continue to develop our halibut production in Norway.

At our Prince Edward Island facility in Canada, we operate a land-based aquaculture site breeding both Atlantic Halibut and Spotted Wolffish from our own broodstock. The facility benefits from access to deep saltwater wells, allowing us to deliver high-quality HOG fish directly to market. With 5,000 acres of farmland available for land-based aquaculture, this site offers ample room for future expansion.
